While Lily loved being independent and the freedom that came with living on her own, at times it got quiet. Not only did it get quiet, but it got lonely, too. Of course she had friends and she saw them rather frequently, but when she wasn't with them or at work, she felt like she was going crazy by herself. That was why she barely spent time in her cozy little apartment by herself, and was always getting out. Today she found herself at the park. It was a nice sunny day and she figured she would spend it outside. She didn't live too far, and had walked there, though she wasn't exactly sure what she would do when she got there. When did my life become so boring? She thought to herself, and then remembered. She had her partying phase the first year and a half of high school, but it had been cut short by her parents. The rest of her high school career she was home-schooled, and she wasn't allowed out much so that she could focus on school, or that was what her parents told her atleast. Their overbearing ways had been the main reason she was in such a rush to move out of the house, and why she was in no rush to take college courses. As she entered the park she walked down the paved path and found an empty bench that faced the open grassy area. There were plenty of children playing and other people walking and doing other things. She let out a small sigh and tucked some of her hair behind her ear and out of her face. People watching would have to do for now. tagged: Sebastian word count: 289 notes: D: sorry if this sucks, I blanked

-----------------------------------------------He yawned for the third time since he opened his eyes a few minutes ago. He had yet to get out bed. Seb had a late start getting started this morning. He knew he shouldn’t have slept in but he was exhausted from his dealings last night Anyways he was late for his workout. He, every day, was up at 5:30, and out running from 6 until 9:30, it seemed like the only thing he could commit too. Well, except for today, he allowed himself to sleep in til 10, and he was enjoying it a little too much. He couldn’t remember the last time he has slept in this late. Years, if he guestimated right. .
He yawned and stretched for a few minutes, before getting out of bed. He wished he could go back to sleep and sleep for the rest of the day. But he had a work out to stick too.He made his way over to his closet and threw on his typical workout clothes, of gym shorts and a wife beater. He had always been the type of person who put his pants on before his shirt. He dug through his drawer searching for his favorite pair of socks. His short, ankle, polka dotted socks. He had gotten them a few years ago as a present from one of his sisters, Morgan and/or Willow and loved them on spot. Yea he knew that it wasn’t the most masculine thing in the world for him to own, but well he loved them anyway. He put on his white sneakers, and ran a comb through his hair. He grabbed his wand and a pair of sunglasses and took a look in the mirror one last time before heading out the door. “Fresh, as usual,” he said to his reflection. He laughed a little at that, and left out of his bedroom door.
It was nearing the end of his work out and Seb, found himself down by the park, and decided that here would be a good place to rest. Pulling a cigarette out his back pocket, he lit it and leaned against the closest tree, by the swings, letting his mind wander. Seb was trying to be a good boy. Trying and failing miserably. He didn’t like who he was becoming, or what he was doing with his life. Okay maybe that was a lie, he did enjoy some aspects of what he was doing with his life. But he didn’t like how he was doing it. ‘At least, I still got a banging body,’ he thought, but that was due to his tedious workout schedule that he never strayed from. He did it no matter the weather, and no matter what or who he did the night before. ‘Who,’ he thought. Seb laughed bitterly taking a long drag from his cigarette, and blowing it out. There seemed to be a lot of who’s recently. Not that he minded, Seb did love a good party, and sex always seemed to follow one.
Seb shook his head to clear his thoughts and lets his eyes roam the scenery. It was there that he first spotted her. They had met on a few occasions, none of the meetings standing out very much in particular. He was terrible when it came to names, especially if when it came to a girl’s name. Still… he felt like he should remember it. Feeling like it would be terribly rude of him to ignore her once he noticed her, he pushed himself up off the tree and plopped himself down beside her. Flashing her one of his famous charming smiles he said, “Hey.” A simple beginning, but all great stories start out that way.

She pulled one of her legs underneath her, sitting back more comfortably against the bench. Her eyes wandered across all of the people and then they stopped, meeting eyes with the attractive male that was leaning against the tree. The only thing that was unattractive was the fact that he was smoking a cigarette, she hated the smell of them. Lily definitely recognized him, and easily remembered his name was Sebastian. She knew that he came into Starbucks once in a while, and may or may not have taken notice of his name when taking his order. She was pretty sure she had met him one or two other times at social outings. She would go to one of the local bars every now and again, the one that didn't check ID's unless you looked underage, and she was always being told she looked older. She looked away, back at one of the children that was plucking grass out of the ground and looked angry. She zoned out for just a moment, and then before she knew it he was beside her and giving her a smile that could probably make her melt. There was no doubt that he was attractive, but he also came off as one of those guys that spent a little too much time on their hair and lingered a little too long in front of the mirror. "Hi." she said back to him, a smile smile creeping onto her face as well, "Sebastian, right?" She asked, she was confident that she remembered correctly, and hoped that he didn't find it creepy that she had. Maybe he remembered me, too, She thought to herself, although the brief moments they had met before he didn't seem too eager to talk to her or anything. tagged: Sebastian word count: 303 notes: me too!

-----------------------------------------------Sebastian felt like a world class jerk, when she said his name. Because he was blanking on hers. It was beyond him how he could have forgotten her name, as hot as she was. “Yeah…I’m Sebastian.” He said his smile still intact even though he was trying to work out her name in his head. What was it? Kelly, Killian, Lillian. Liliana… that was it! “and you’re Liliana, you work down at the coffee shop right?” He often stopped there on his way to the office in the morning, depending on how long the line was.
Depending on if he was in a hurry or not he would say a few words to her. But most of the time he was always in a hurry. He had only talked to her a handful of times, only the moments when he needed something for his latte or he wanted an extra bagel or something. Looking back he probably could have taken a little bit more time to chat her up. She was quite beautiful, he observed. Certainly a step up, from the other broads that worked there. Gah… how he had hated stepping in there some mornings. They swarmed him like buzzards, trying to grant his every wish. Sure it was a big ego booster, but still there was only so much a man can take. They flirted, and batted their eyelashes and what not, and quite frankly it was annoying.
He took a dragged a from his cigarette . He didn’t smoke often, only when he was cold, stressed, or upset about something. He wasn’t cold, as it was still summer, or stressed as the prime season for shipping had just began, but something pretty big had happened last night and he was having a hard time remember it and that was pretty upsetting.
He looked around awkwardly for a few moments before turning back to the barista, “So… um… what are you doing out here, if you don’t mind my asking. You off today or something?” he asked taking another drag from his cigarette.

Lily nodded when he said her name, not noticing that it may have taken him a moment longer than it should have for him to say it. "Unfortunately, I do...." she replied when he asked if she worked at the coffee shop. So he had noticed her there, too. She continued " Lily, though. Call me Lily." she insisted, she hated being called Liliana and thought it was too much of a mouthful, even though she was complimented on it frequently. She found it unfortunate that he recognized her from her job though, because she put little effort into her appearance there. Most mornings she had to go in early and rolled out of bed, throwing her hair up messily, changing, and then heading out. She never felt the need to impress anyone in the morning, that was until someone as attractive as Sebastian would walk in. Usually when that happened, the other girls she worked with would somehow get their way to the counter and try and hold his attention, which was fine with her at that time of day. She nodded to him now, it was indeed one of her days off, and it was too bad that she had nothing to do. Instantly regretting it, she thought to herself great, now he probably thinks I'm a loser, sitting here by myself on my day off. "I just like being outdoors. And I had to get out of my apartment for a while, you know? Even if it meant just coming here." She looked back at Sebastian and shrugged, that was the best she could come up with "Boring, I know." she added with a small laugh, trying to play it off. tagged: Sebastian word count: 293 notes: c;

-----------------------------------------------“Unfortunately?” Seb asked, “Do you not like your job?” He could understand that. Working for his father wasn’t on his top most wanted job list that he wanted after he graduated high school. But well… here he was almost 6 years later running the company that had been in his family for years. Try as he might he couldn’t desert Abercrombie Shipping if he tried. “Lily,” he repeated, “Everyone calls me Seb, as Sebastian is a terribly long name. Not to mention it’s a bit to formal for my personality, don’t you think?” he said winking at her. His parents had the worst naming skills, at least when it came to naming their sons; his sisters had some pretty good names. He felt bad for his brother, whose name was way worst off, I mean Paxton Eugene, really.
He took a long slow drag from his cigarette. The exhaustion from his workout finally hitting him. He worked hard on his body, with a strict workout schedule that he never deterred from: a 5 mile run, 100 jumping jacks, 50 pushups, and 50 crunches, not necessarily in that order. It was hard sometimes, but he did whatever it took to maintain the body. Seb finished up the cigarette and threw it down stepping on it to put it out.
Focusing his attention fully on her he caught the tail end of what she was saying. Something about liking the outdoors and needing to get out the apartment. He smiled, “It’s not boring… I mean, there are a bit more interesting ways to spend your day off, like going to see a movie or something, but hey… to each their own.” He personally loved the park, it was the reason why he took his daily run here every single day. It was a beautiful place, not the mention the air was cleaner than normal. “We’ve met other places than the coffee shop?” It was phrased more as of a statement than a question, but he was curious. He had a feeling that he had seen her outside her starbucks uniform at some point, he just couldn’t remember where.

She shrugged her shoulders to answer him, it wasn't so much that she hated her job, it was just mediocre and a way for her to pay her rent for now. "I don't hate it, but I don't love it either." she let out. She just took orders all day and went home smelling like coffee. She looked back at him and asked "Where do you work?" She listened to him and agreed with what he said about his name completely, and felt the same applied to her own name. When he winked at her she couldn't help but smile, and she was sure any other girl would too. "Well, alright. Seb does fit you better." she agreed. Lily watched as he took a drag from his cigarette before putting it out. She had also noticed that he was wearing gym clothes, and found it curious that he also smoked. "Your socks are adorable." she commented with a grin. Adorable probably wasn't a word used to describe him often since he seemed pretty masculine, however she didn't find his socks that way. She was pretty sure she had a similar pair of her own. "Yeah... I know, boring." she said again " I just needed some fresh air. I hate being stuck inside all the time." she admitted, looking around the park again. She liked the park too, most of the time. She didn't usually just come and sit by herself though. His next comment, about seeing each other other than at her job, made her think. She knew that she had met him before, and she was pretty sure she remembered. "I think you might know my friend Brooke... maybe? Me and her, we usually go to that bar downtown. I think it's called Ultra? I think." she started with her explanation. She was almost positive that Brooke had introduced her to him before, but she wasn't 100% sure. "I think I might have seen you around there before, too." she added and smiled "Or am I wrong?" tagged: Sebastian word count: 356 notes: I'm starting to think of possible plots for them now c;

-----------------------------------------------Seb nodded as she said she didn’t hate her job but didn’t love it either. He could understand that. He wasn’t big on his job either, but he had tradition to uphold. He was the CEO of Abercrombie’s Shipping; he had just inherited from his father a few months ago. It wasn’t that he hated AS, because he didn’t he really didn’t, he loved everything about the business, it was just that this wasn’t where he had seen himself as a kid. He had higher aspirations than working for his father for the rest of his life. He had tried to get out but well, Sebastian III was willing to let all of his children live their own lives but one, and unfortunately for Seb he was the one. He shook his head to clear his head, “I work at Abercrombie’s Shipping… well… I kind of own it actually,” he said running a hand through his hair. He laughed as she called his socks adorable, “Thanks,” he said, “one of my sisters gave them to me; I don’t remember which one though.” He loved his sisters more than anything in the world, all three of them. Would do anything for them… well not anything, but pretty darn close, but sometimes he wished he was an only child, or had at least been born further down the child chain. Being the oldest sucked. “They’re not the most masculine thing in the world though,” he added, “but sometimes you gotta suck it up and where them even if you don’t want to.” He paused and looked at her thoughtfully, “Do you have any siblings?”
He raised an eyebrow when she said she knew Brooke. He and Brooke had a special kind of relationship. Nothing serious really, just… he didn’t really know how to quite form it into words, but for all extensive purposed they were friends with benefits. Of course that was only when she wasn’t with that boyfriend of hers. “You know Brooke?” he asked, a smile sitting on his lips, “Yeah…I frequent Ulta a bit, I think I have seen you there, at that fact, we’ve danced together at some point, I’m pretty sure.”
