He had been all the other times after all. Then the lights were on and the music was off. Jamie sighed in frustration. Jamie had walked right into a drugs bust up and now he had Kieran hanging onto him barely conscious of anything. They were in trouble.

Jamie stumbled slightly as he was suddenly yanked back into the crowd by Kieran in an effort to escape. He was being stupid, of course, but he couldn't exactly deter him from whatever was going on in Kieran's little fucked up mind. Jamie ducked with Kieran instinctively when he heard the gun shots. That would be the drug lords shooting back, no doubt, and they were stuck right in the middle of it. "Fucking hell, Kieran," Jamie muttered under his breath as his eyes followed what Kieran was looking at. A gun. Aimed right at Kieran. Jamie didn't think as he saw the hand moving towards the trigger, just pushed Kieran out of the way as the shot was fired and hit Jamie straight in the chest instead as he took the bullet for him. Everything suddenly went into slow motion. Seering pain went through him and his hand went to his chest, holding it tightly as he dropped to his knees in shock. "Fuck..." he gasped, pulling his hand away to look at the blood seeping onto his hands. "Fuck."[/blockquote]
