you're so good and you're so bad
that everybody wants to be your man
nicknames: his little sister pen calls him dally, much to his dismay.
age: 27
birthday: may 12
sexual orientation: he's very straight.
member group: resident
playby: jensen ackles
appearance: dallas is six feet tall, so he's not the tallest guy you're going to meet, but he's okay with that. he tends to slouch a little, as well. his torso and legs are pretty evenly proportioned, and he has quite a bit of muscle on him. he's very toned, and he likes to flaunt that if he's flirting with you. he doesn't smile big that often. normally, he wears a smirk. his eyes are a hazel that changes colors quite a bit, though normally they appear a light brown with hints of green. his hair is always short, above his ears. he likes it that way, and it's cooler for him to wear it that way. he doesn't have to hassle with it as much. his face is normally clean shaven, though sometimes he just doesn't bother and has some stubble. he has big feet for his size. it's like he never grew into them.
normally, dallas will wear whatever he pulls out of his drawer - it doesn't matter that much to him. he has quite a few pairs of jeans, as he doesn't wear shorts that often. he has a favorite jacket that he always wears in the wintertime, but since he moved here, he doesn't find the need for it that often. it just hangs on his coatrack now, for the most part unused. on workdays, of course, he wears his uniform. dallas doesn't have the most adept sense of style, as he probably looks very... midwestern here in beechshire, california.[/ul][/ul]

secrets: dallas didn't just come here for the job; he had a friend with benefits back home, and they ended up falling for each other - dallas simply got cold feet and left to come here, never giving the poor girl a reason why.
overall personality: dallas can be extroverted when he wants to be, but to be honest, he's perfectly fine with just watching TV with his dog all day. he doesn't mind being alone, but he doesn't mind some company, either. it would depend on the company, though. if you are a girl and he thinks you're pretty, he's going to let you know. dallas is a flirt at heart and he gets a mischeiveous glint in his eye when he does, making him look like trouble, which many girls just love about him. dallas is the type of guy you come to with problems, and his advice is good to take. he's very logical, and sees a clear answer to everything. he can't quite get the fact that something may be more complicated to someone than it seems to him. dallas thinks all problems should be simple, and if they don't involve him, they are.
dallas has a sense of humor, but he doesn't like to be the joke. he can be a bit pessimistic sometimes, though he tries to see all the possibilities.dallas likes routines and guidelines, which is part of the reason why he's a police officer. he's up for something spontaneous, but only once in a while. he likes the order and having it disrupted all the time unnerves him. dallas is very calm and collected during a potentially dangerous situation, but if it involves his family, he'll blow a top at first, and then get the steely, almost scary calm. he'll fix the problem with his family, no matter what. his judgement has always been a bit clouded when it involves family. nationality: caucasian
birthplace: grant, indiana
overall history: dallas freeman was the firstborn child to ellen and peter freeman. soon after him, meghan came along. pen and trace came shortly after one another four years later, much like meg and dallas. they were a well known family in grant, indiana, which is the definition of a small town in the midwest. their mother stayed at home to watch her children, and peter made the money. the two made sure it stretched between everyone enough, and the kids never went hungry and always had clothes on their backs, even if pen and trace got the hand-me-downs. it wasn't a bad life by any means. they were just a normal, middle class family. the whole freeman clan still lives in grant, or somewhere near it, and family reunions happen pretty much every year. dallas was the second freeman to move so far away. pen, his sister, was the first. dallas loves his parents and is grateful for all that they did for him. they are content people, which is something that he has never been able to be.
dallas and meghan can be seen as the perfect first two, and pen and trace the screwed up youngest. pen was always manipulative, even as a child, and trace was just never the smartest kid out there. dallas, as soon as he was out of high school, went to college, and he became a police officer in his tiny town. meghan got married at 22 years old and she's currently expecting her first child. pen got pregnant at 17, gave birth, and then disappeared from all their lives, only occassionally gracing her family with a phone call. initially, little victoire was taken care of by her grandparents, but meghan and tyler adopted the girl as their own and she still doesn't know who her real mother or father are. dallas has always hated what pen did to his niece, and their family. she ran off with a rock star, for god's sake. were they that bad to her? dallas is still bitter about the whole thing, and would much rather he not see pen at all. trace is only twenty one, and he's gotten two DUIs, and still lives with peter and ellen. trace has never had any idea what he will do in life, and he still doesn't. dallas knows that one day his brother is going to do something terrible under the infulence, even though everyone has tried their hardest to control him.
when dallas was in school, he was a bit of a jock. he was never as cocky as the rest of his friends, and never used drugs like they did, but he did drink with them. he played all the sports he could play, as he likes to stay in shape. he always had a dog at his side for as long as he can remember, and frank is the most recent, since dallas got the big boy when he was a puppy three years ago. he and frank keep each other in shape, since dallas goes on long walks with his dogs nearly every day. he's one of the few people who don't really mind exercise, but dallas can be pretty lazy when he wants to, too. during high school, he had a best friend, molly kingston. she knows dallas, inside and out, and they lost their virginity to each other in the middle of junior year. ever since then, molly and dallas took the title of 'friends with benefits' to each other, but in the past year, they found that they were falling for each other, and especially dallas was falling hard. he'd always been used to the taunts about molly("have ya proposed yet, dal?") but he couldn't handle them actually coming true. everyone always thought those two would settle down together, but dallas got cold feet and left molly behind for beechshire. rp sample: She knew she shouldn't have stayed up that late last night, but Trinity hadn't managed to convince herself of a viable reason to go to bed before 2 A. M. Now that she was just rising to meet the sun at noon, she realized why she should have. Today she had planned on running, and the morning would have been much more preferable. The humidity and heat was creeping into her room through the window she kept open at nighttime to aerate it. She staggered over to it and shut it, making a loud boom that her parents probably heard, if they were home. She listened for a moment for any signs of life downstairs. Not hearing any, she deemed herself alone and dragged herself into the bathroom. She would take a shower when she got back home; her hair wasn't that bad in terms of greasiness, at the moment. Besides, in this heat, she'd been even worse than now when she got back. So, she brushed it up into a high bun that wouldn't bother her while she ran. She placed a thick headband around her head to keep any flyaways out of her face. She brushed her teeth and went back to her room to get dressed.
She didn't really notice what she put on, it just had to be something comfortable enough. So, Trinity donned a pair of black ADIDAS shorts and a orange tank top. She pulled her iPod shuffle out from all the mess next to her bed and clipped it onto her tank top's sleeve. She had a Touch, but she still used that little shuffle to run with. Honestly, she liked its simplicity over her iPod Touch's many features. Plus, it didn't cost as much to replace. She pulled socks and then her normal pair of tennis shoes on then. Trinity had many pairs of shoes, but they were all some sort of tennis shoes or cleet. She didn't own a pair of flats or heels.
Since she was ready, she headed out to the park, the one place in this town she knew about and where it was. The second day they were here Trinity and her dad had set out on the town in search of a good place to run, and they'd found this. Trinity liked it more than her dad, who still preferred to run about the city streets. But as long as she ran somewhere, her dad didn't care what she did. When she finally arrived, she stretched as she ran for the first few minutes. It was better to stretch while you were in motion than to just stand there, at least from Trinity's experience. After she was finished, she started to sprint. She loved the feeling it gave her; she was so... powerful. She could do anything. After she began to tire, she pushed herself further for that elusive runner's high. She loved that rush of adrenaline, though it didn't always present itself when she needed it. When it didn't come, she stopped for a moment to breathe, using a tree to help her stand. People didn't watch her, but Trinity watched them as they came and went throughout the park. It was so interesting to watch people and see what they do in conversations or when a caterpillar crawled up by them. Trinity never stared long enough to get caught in the act, though. She'd had years to perfect that '"look away like you never looked at all."
Trinity began to hear a buzzing in her ears, and she realized after a moment it was from an outside source. She swatted at the offending insect, which just made it madder. She looked up and saw the reason for this random bee; there was a bee's nest high above her in that tree. Before she could start running again to get away from a possible bee swarm, she felt a sharp pain on the back of her arm. She made some sort of pained noise, she wasn't sure what, exactly. She ran over to the bench that had no one seated in it, and tried to inspect her bee sting. It was hard to, as it had stung in a place where she had to twist her arm in a very unnatural way to see it, and even then she couldn't see the whole thing. She sighed in an annoyed way and wondered if anyone in the park had seen that, or had supplies to pull the stinger out.[/ul][/ul]
